Dark and stormy
the dark clouds swarming
terror and darkness fill the sky
it’s time to tell this world goodbye
sudden sorrow fills the air
and if I may or if I dare
I proceed to the heavenly eye of the storm
warmth and peace fill the air
a soft and gentle glare
I cannot help but simply stare
as I know this is clearly pleasant
but as I know time is of its essence
the tranquil clouds start to move away
in the end, darkness has the final say
but is there hope I’m glad to say
the heavens have done away
with this dark and stormy day
One of the most artistic poems I have read in my life. 5 stars!
