As I gaze beyond my windowsill,
I think about the things I want to see and do
To gaze upon a waterfall cascading down a hill
While the morning light reflects off the glistening dew
Sitting under a cherry blossom tree
The breeze rustles the flowers, showing who’s queen
On a snow-capped mountain feeling cold and free
With not a single cloud in the sky to be seen
Sitting on a white, sandy beach, watching the sun sink below the waves
I can do this forever, I’ve got time to kill
These are some of the sights I often crave
As I gaze beyond my windowsill.
What a beautiful poem!
