GLI Fundraiser

Yesterday, GLI sent a slip for their latest fundraiser. They will be selling feathers during academy lunch times (4th Period AAH, 5th Period ABL, 6th Period ASR). The prices are $1 each for the small feathers and $2 each for the large feathers. You may write what you are thankful for on the feather that you have bought, and then volunteers will paste the feathers onto the bare turkey in the lunchroom. GLI’s goal is to raise $1,000 worth of feathers for their partner school Kasturba Gandhi Girls School in India and completely cover the turkey. The Swerve and GLI staff sincerely hope that you will be able to join and support this cause by donating 1 or 2 dollars. If there are any further questions, please see Ms. Jaffe in Room 503 during AM & PM Homeroom. The deadline for this fundraiser is November 21st. Please submit all requests before November 21st so GLI has enough time to collect the money and process the requests.
